- What will the weather be like in Barcelona in October?
Barcelona weather in October is warm with an average high of 21°C. At night, temperatures lower to 12°C. There are around ten hours of sunlight per day with 58mm of rain spread across ten days of the month. Thunderstorms are possible at this time of year, so make sure to check the forecast to prepare.
What clothing should I bring?
Pack versatile layers to adapt to the changing daily temperatures. During the day, light sweaters or long-sleeved tops are usually enough, but a warmer jacket might be needed for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are useful. An umbrella or a raincoat could come in handy with the occasional showers. The Summit dress code is business casual to casual.

What is the gift exchange?
On Wednesday, October 7, we will have a gift exchange. It is designed to help you meet a new colleague, meaning that participants will introduce themselves and exchange a gift. Please bring a gift representing your region, place of work or your part of the world (suggested value ~€20). Past gifts have included hats, t-shirts, scarves, sweatshirts, pint glasses and books. Feel free to be creative and bring something you would like to receive yourself!
Do I need medical and travel insurance?
