An event for European Heads and Directors of University Careers Services.

The European Career Services Summit 2027 brings together senior career services leaders from across Europe for a peer-led exchange on shared challenges, emerging practice, and the future of the profession.

Building on previous editions in Leuven (2019), Milan (2025) and Barcelona (2026), the Summit continues to grow a European community grounded in collaboration, mutual learning, and practice that travels across institutional and national contexts.

Participation is limited to around 60 European career services leaders, ensuring depth of discussion, trust, and meaningful exchange.

This year’s European Summit is hosted by The University of Amsterdam.

Format

The Summit is designed as a peer-led forum for exchange, combining short presentations, panels, facilitated table discussions, and interactive dialogue.

The emphasis is on shared experience and conversation rather than traditional presentation formats.

Evening networking sessions will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, extending discussion into informal settings.

About the Summit

The European Career Services Summit is a peer-led forum for career services leaders across Europe. It exists to strengthen collaboration, shared understanding, and practice exchange across institutions, complementing the Global Career Services Summit with a focus on what is directly transferable within a European context.
