The European Career Services Summit brings together thought leaders, including employers, from around Europe to discuss important current and future issues that impact careers centres and university graduates entering the job market. This year’s summit hosted by Politecnico di Milano in Milan, builds upon a 2019 event of European leaders hosted at KU Leuven.
The Summit facilitates learning, best practice sharing and collegial dialogue amongst career services’ managers. Through a number of structured workshops, presentations and small group interactions the Summit aims to achieve the following objectives:
- To create a forum to share observations and insights about the ever-changing world of career services in Europe and across the globe.
- To discuss the challenges and opportunities which are central to the successful delivery of career services for tomorrow’s students and employers.
- To acquire an appreciation and understanding of the similarities as well as differences of career services throughout Europe.
- To provide a venue to build a network of supportive career services colleagues.
The event in a non-profit initiative made possible thanks to the voluntary contribution of a program committee made up of directors of career services.
