09:00  AI in Action in Career Guidance: Shaping the Future of Our Services

AI is rapidly transforming how students explore careers, prepare applications and engage with universities. Career Services are adapting and questioning our role in guidance and delivery. This session focuses on practical implementation, enabling comparison of AI use across services and its impact on careers guidance provided to students.

11:00  Supporting International Students: Opportunity vs Local Resistance

International students are often seen as a strategic opportunity for universities and local economies, yet career services frequently face practical, organizational, and cultural challenges in supporting them effectively. This interactive session explores how institutions across Europe are responding to the evolving needs of international student populations and navigating the tensions between global ambition and local realities.

Starting from a reflection on who we define as an “international student” and whether different student profiles require different approaches, the session will move into real experiences from the field, peer discussion, and collaborative problem-solving. Through case studies and facilitated “career walks,” participants will exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and explore how career services can develop more inclusive, realistic, and impactful support models for international students.

    12:30  Tour of Esade Campus

14:00  Amplifying the Student Voice in Career Services: Student Associations and Beyond

This interactive workshop will focus on the support students want from their institution and Careers Service to help them prepare for their future career, and how this can best be delivered. Building on insights into student needs, participants will be encouraged to reflect on how their views resonate with their own context and will leave with practical actions they can take back from the summit. This session is intended to help colleagues strengthen the student voice, foster belonging, building meaningful relationships with student associations. It supports them in aligning their Career Services with the needs and aspirations of their students, so the support they give is timely, relevant and impactful.

    16:00  Leading Practices Showcase

In a rapidly shifting world of work, career services must evolve just as quickly. This spotlight session introduces a set of leading practices amongst the participants that are reshaping how institutions prepare students for meaningful futures. This session is designed to inspire peers with fresh ideas, actionable insights, and a forward‑looking vision for the next generation of student career development.
