EY Global Career Services Summit Awards

“EY is proud to support the Global Career Services Summit”

The GlobEY Awards, sponsored by EY, recognise excellence across the global career services community. They celebrate innovation, inclusion, collaboration, and measurable impact in advancing career readiness and opportunity for students worldwide. These categories and judging criteria reflect scalable and sustainable best practices that shape the future of global career education.

We invite all individuals who will be participating in the 2026 Summit to submit a proposal by January 16th 2026. The award winners will be announced during the Global Career Services Summit in March and will be presented with £250 or local currency equivalent sum.

(please note: the mentor award does not have a cash prize).

Other need to knows:

  • You must be present to win.
  • You can submit more than one proposal.
  • You do not need to indicate the award category for your entry.
  • The GCSS leadership team will review all submissions and decide which award category they align with.
  • Submissions from GCSS leadership team members’ organisations are ineligible.

The Bob Athwal and Tom Devlin Founder’s Award for Innovation

Recognises an outstanding program for innovation designed and implemented by a career services office.


Best Student Program

Acknowledges best practices designed to best serve students through innovative, inclusive, and scalable initiatives.


Best Faculty Program

Recognises exemplary initiatives that engage academic departments or faculty in promoting career readiness and employability.


Best University-Employer Partnership

Acknowledges collaborative programs between career services and employers that enhance the student career experience.


Best Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Program

Recognises best practices that advance the career experience for students from diverse communities.


Excellence in Technology-Enhanced Career Services (New Category)

Recognises pioneering use of emerging technologies — including AI, automation, data analytics, or digital tools — to scale or transform the delivery of career services.


The Kathy Sims Mentoring Award

Acknowledges a member of the GCSS community who shares their knowledge and expertise to advise, support, or guide another colleague’s professional development.
